Roblox Game Fund

The Roblox Game Fund, also known shortly as the Game Fund, is a partnership program that allows developers to receive funds from Roblox Corporation. The program was launched to help developers experiment and who want the opportunity to use Roblox Studio to build their experiences. Experiences can be join the program via an application. If accepted, each project will receive a minimum of $500,000 of funds.[1]

History[]

On July 19, 2021, it was announced on the Developer Forum by Kairomatic that the program would be launched in order to fund developers for their experiences. On November 13, 2021, applications for the program where opened.[2]

On March 22, 2022, during the 2022 Game Developers Conference, Roblox showcased a first look at 2 experiences, Rolling Thunder by Splitting Point Studios and Winds of Fortune by Sonar Studios. Alongside this showcase, Roblox announced 3 new recipients, them being Ruin by Looty Games, RIOTFALL by Rodeo Interactive, and Secret Neighbor by Tiny Builds, which is based off the survival horror stealth game Hello Neighbor.[3]
