The Roblox Innovation Awards 2024 was an annual event that was first announced on May 22, 2024. Like the previous Innovation Awards, the 2024 Innovation Awards occurred at RDC 2024 on September 7, 2024.[1]
On the event's annunciation date, Roblox announced that nominations for the Innovation Awards had opened. Some new additions not seen previously are "Best Obby Experience", "Best Education Experience", "Best Branded Experience" and more. On May 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. PST, the nomination submissions were set to close.
On June 28, 2024 at 10 AM PST, the voting hub for the event opened. Daily voting started on July 1, 2024 at 10 AM PST and ended on July 14, 2024. RDC 2024 voting also started at the same time, ending on August 16, 2024.[2] Similarly to The Hunt: First Edition and The Classic, Today's Picks was utilized to promote the event.

- Selecting a drink from the vending machine in The Classic hub will also award the gear in the voting hub.
- A floating model of the Twin Atlas logo can be seen floating at the edge of the voting hub.
- Completing the obby next to the logo will lead to the credits.
- A singular palm tree can be spotted far into the distance in the voting hub.
- The maximum amount of points a user could obtain in the voting hub was 1,320. This was obtainable by completing all 12 days of daily voting, alongside guessing all 12 categories correctly.
- Despite this, there are two unused badges for 1,400 Points and 1,500 Points.
- The game will softlock if the player tried to join an experience that costs Robux without having it purchased (i.e. Deepwoken), an experience that is not supported on the device type the player is playing on, an experience that is not supported in the country or region the player is in, or an experience one is not allowed to enter due to age restrictions or parental controls in their account (e.g. a 17+ experience without being age-verified). This causes the player to be stuck in the teleportation sequence.
- On September 16, 2024, the Roblox Innovation Awards 24 Ribbon Wings and Roblox Innovation Awards 24 Sparkle Buddy became limited.
