The establishment of this letter was created due to many users posting/uploading disturbing experiences and other UGC assets that ultimately concerned the staff and moderators. Users would most commonly publish deep phrases and images to Roblox in order to express their feelings, the main issue being suicide. As a part of Roblox's goal to maintain a safe and happy community, an automatic message is sent out to users who utilize Roblox to articulate their struggles with life and possibly the intent of ending their own life. The clear purpose of this message is to encourage them to rather reach out for help to a trusted parent or teacher. Whenever it is safe to tell that this person is solemn about their feelings, it would be sent to them personally.

Fake messages
Many trolls or M U G E N accounts[1] have used the Roblox Suicidal Help Message format as bait to get a user into a game, which may result in increased amounts of stress. In most of the games in the messages sent by M U G E N accounts, on PC, the user cannot leave the game by clicking the "X" button in the top right, and when manually closing Roblox using Task Manager, the audio from the game continues to play, even after Roblox Player is supposedly closed.
Only the official Roblox Roblox is a notable creator or influencer verified by Roblox Corporation. Learn more. account will send Roblox Suicidal Help Messages. Messages from any other users are fake and are likely bait. Administrators will not send users the help message from their own accounts.
