The Robox is a fictional video game console that was first introduced in the Roblox blog on April 1, 2019, to celebrate April Fools' Day. It is described as being "PoweRed[sic] by Imagination" and has the ability to wirelessly connect to any device, including those that cannot connect to the internet. It was also written that tilting the console at 14.7 degrees to the right would fire up a fictional "RBX Imagination™ CPU", which supposedly has 64 cores @ 6 GHz. It also boasted 8K rendering at 240 Hz and 140 FPS and came preinstalled with Roblox and Roblox Studio.[1]

An April Fools link to pre-order the console was also present on the blog post, but it would redirect users to a 404 error page.

Towards the end of the blog post, there was a claim that the Robox would be available for purchase on April 1, 2020. On that day, the Robox was released onto the Marketplace as a wearable item. The blog post then had its HTML code updated such that the https://www.roblox.com/aprilfools link at the bottom of the post would redirect to the avatar item's page.
