The Star Code (also referred to as a Video Code, Star Creator Code, Creator Code, and Video Star Creator Code) is a feature that was implemented on April 29, 2019. Its main purpose is to support and feature those in the Roblox Video Stars Program. It can be found when purchasing Premium or Robux under "Select payment type", a button will say "Enter a star code". Making a purchase with a star code entered will support a Star Program member by giving them 5% of the purchase price at no extra cost.

Not all Roblox YouTubers inside the Star Program have a star code.

On October 24, 2025, Roblox will be removing star codes from the platform to replace it with their entirely new creator rewards program. Star Creators will earn 1 robux per user that joins the game through the link of the star creators video.

Criticism[]

Despite being a feature that is exclusive to Star Program members, the Star Code has been criticized for being exclusive to content creators from the Star Program, as those that do create Roblox video content are unable to have a code created to promote themselves.
