Template documentation follows

This template is used in articles to create an infobox about a hat. It contains information about the hat and will automatically categorize the article. Being an infobox, it should be put at the top right corner of the page (the template should be put before any other content).

Infoboxes should be used to display, in a concise way, relevant and useful information that is common to many pages (in this case, hats). Even if the information is already in the infobox, it should also be in the page's main content.

The template can be used by filling the parameters, described in the parameters section. The only required parameters are the ID and the accessory type.

The list below explains all parameters and contains important notes.

This parameter controls the title shown at the top of the infobox. Do not fill this parameter if the name of the page is already the name of the item (which should be the case).
The thumbnail of the item. The simple file name should be used.
The item's ID. Can be found at the end of the URL of the item's page. This parameter is required. If the item has no item page, and therefore has no id, an id of 0 can be given, which will make no link appear on the infobox. This should only be used in the case of items like the Epic Katana, which can only be obtained by owning certain gear, and which isn't actually a catalog item but merely a special gear.
This should be the number of ROBUX the item costs. It should be omitted if the item is not sold for ROBUX. If the item was once sold but is now limited, the original price (not the best price) should be used here. The number is formatted automatically.
This should be a list of the genres of the hat, separated by commas (example: Building, Fighting, FPS, Horror). If there is only one genre, no comma is needed. Genre names are not case sensitive, can be separated by commas with or without a space after the comma, and can also be separated by slashes. See {{genre}} for more information on the accepted genre names. This parameter is required. If there are no genres, or the genres are unknown, specify 'none'.
The level of membership required to purchase the item.
If the hat is restricted to members 13 years old or older, specify this parameter. The value doesn't matter, as long as one is given.
In the cases where the given item was not published by the ROBLOX user, its creator can be specified with this parameter. The Unofficial items category will be added if the accessory was made by a past or current administrator. The UGC items category will be added if the accessory was not made by an administrator.
If the hat is limited, specify this parameter. The value doesn't matter, as long as one is given.
If the hat is limited and unique, specify this parameter. The value doesn't matter, as long as one is given.
If the hat is free, specify this parameter. The value doesn't matter, as long as one is given. This will make the text "Free" appear on the infobox, and categorize the page appropriately.
This should be the hat's description. If the hat does not have a description, write a description that describes the hat.
accessory type
This should be the accessory type. Recognized types are "hat", "hair", "face", "neck", "shoulder", "front", "back", and "waist". The article will be added to the category relevant to its type. There will be an error if no accessory type is given. If there really is no accessory type, "none" will cause the article to be added directly to Category:Accessories and there will be no error.
