Template documentation follows
Note: the template above may sometimes be partially or fully invisible.
Visit Template:Infobox_emote/doc to edit this documentation. (How does this work?)
This template is used in articles to create an infobox about an emote. It contains information about the emote and will automatically categorize the page as a emote page. Being an infobox, it should be put at the top right corner of the page (the template should be put before any other content).

Infoboxes should be used to display, in a concise way, relevant and useful information that is common to many pages (in this case, emotes). Even if the information is already in the infobox, it should also be in the page's main content.

The template can be used by copying the code below, pasting it into the article and filling the parameters. The only required parameters are the description and the item's ID, the others can be ignored. However, placing an image is very recommended and as much data as is available regarding the parameters should be put in the infobox. The parameters are described in the parameters section.

Only the most common parameters are in the code below. Other parameters are available and can be found in the parameters section mentioned in the previous paragraph.

{{Infobox emote
| image = File name.png
| id =
| command =
| robux =
| genres = (if this throws an error, check the documentation for the 'genres' parameter in the template documentation or ask for help on the talk page)
| membership = (remove this line if the item is not restricted to a certain membership)
| (limited/limitedu) = (remove this line if the item is neither limited or limitedu)
| description =

The list below explains all parameters and contains important notes.

This parameter controls the title shown at the top of the infobox. Do not fill this parameter if the name of the page is already the name of the item (which should be the case).
The thumbnail of the item. The simple file name should be used.
The item's ID. Can be found at the end of the URL of the item's page. This parameter is required. If the item has no item page, and therefore has no id, an id of 0 can be given, which will make no link appear on the infobox. This should only be used in the case of items like the Epic Katana, which can only be obtained by owning certain gear, and which isn't actually a catalog item but merely a special gear.
This should be the command that will execute the emote in-game. Will automatically add /e before the value. For example, "tilt" will automatically become "/e tilt"
This should be the number of ROBUX the item costs. It should be omitted if the item is not sold for ROBUX. If the item was once sold but is now limited, the original price (not the best price) should be used here. The number is formatted automatically.
This should be a list of the genres of the emote, separated by commas (example: Building, Fighting, FPS, Horror). If there is only one genre, no comma is needed. Genre names are not case sensitive, can be separated by commas with or without a space after the comma, and can also be separated by slashes. See {{genre}} for more information on the accepted genre names.
The level of membership required to purchase the item.
In the rare cases where the given item was not published by the ROBLOX user, its creator can be specified with this parameter.
If the hat is free, specify this parameter. The value doesn't matter, as long as one is given. This will make the text "Free" appear on the infobox, and categorize the page appropriately.
This should be the emote's description.
