Regretevator [ ELEVATOR SIMULATOR ] or simply just Regretevator is an adventure styled game focused around riding an infinite elevator with 10 other players, which is inspired by The Normal Elevator. The game is handled by the group The Axolotl Sun. It has 93 floors currently as of December 2024. It became famous after YouTubers starting making videos about it, due to the creative nature of the game.
It starts the user in a lobby, and can wander around the 2 sets of shops. The Gift Shop contains catalog items, and the Shop is for decoration. Once the user enters the elevator, they will traverse into 85 randomly chosen floors. Some rooms can be extremely short with minor differences, while others might include rewards such as NPCs, Coins, Tickets, and changes to the player's avatar.

| Area 51 | The server has to hit 5 buttons, represented with challenges, then hit one final button in the middle. |
| Backrooms | Upon spawning in the backrooms, a distorted picture of a random face (named Clover) chases you. |
| Birthday Apartment | Destroy the whole party apartment (belonging to PartyNoob) within a time period. |
| Bomb Defusal | A countdown of 10 seconds will start, after which the bomb either explodes or confetti shoots out. |
| bugbo | A purple bug known as "bugbo" would greet the players and announce a rock collection challenge. Players collect as many as they can and get coins. |
| Button Competition | Users race to hit as many buttons as they can, due to them giving out coins. |
| Cardboard Mansion | A large maze of rooms made out of cardboard. |
| CRUMBL CUBE | Players stay on the cube that rotates while balls from the sky destroy parts of it. A so-called "boss" named SlimYim will greet players, and is also known to replace Miché. |
| Curse Cove | A shop floor where players can buy several curse items from a NPC named 'Barb'. |
| Dance Party | Greeted by an announcer named Brody, you must stand on a color in time before it ends. Failure results in you going into the meat grinder. |

| DREAM WORLD | A room with a person sitting on a bed, then teleports to the "White Desert". A reference to DREAM WORLD By NOR0i. (A deleted map.) |
| Drive-Thru | A Fast-Food driver greets you, states that your the 1000th customer, then gives the elevator an item, ranging from a glowing red ball that damages players to a roomba with a knife taped to it. |
| Dummy Floor | A dimly lit hallway with a dummy with a grinning face at the end of it. The dummy will suddenly move towards the elevator. |
| DW Museum | A museum with various paintings and signs around the room. |
| Elevator Shaft | The floor appears as an elevator shaft lit by industrial lights, alongside numbers in each section of the shaft. Players can climb to get to the top, where the switch is located. |
| Elevator x5 | The floor starts as 5 elevators open. The last elevator will either contain a laser, a speeding wall, or a hole. |
| Eternal Limbo | The boss floor where players must fight Folly. During the floor, Folly has different attacks and players are able to damage her by guessing the mirror she jumps in after each attack. |
| Find The Path | A large room with 2 platforms separated by a group of tiles, with certain tiles forming a pathway to the other side. Players must get across in order to activate Prototype. |
| Fishy Aquarium | An aquarium with several windows showing a view of the ocean. There is a submarine will pass by the main window before slowly moving out of the player's view |
| Flood Fill Mine | A floor where players mine through rocks to get to the Shield. |
| Floppy Shoppy | Floppy Shoppy is a department store themed around floppy disks. Players can find a computer at the front desk called Scag. |
| FNARB | Five Nights at Freddy's, but there's only the NPC "Reddy" and 12% power. Run out of power, and Reddy walks in, jumpscaring anyone outside the elevator. An NPC named Gregoriah will be the Phone Guy/Narrator. |
| Four Corners | When the elevator doors open, players that are currently in the elevator will be forced out into the arena, where an announcer says that players must stand in one of the four corners, and to not pick the wrong one. |
| Frightening Floor | The floor takes place in the elevator, with a deep pit that kills you behind the doors. A voice will announce that a random player must jump out of the elevator, showing their name and avatar on a screen. If the chosen player jumps out, nothing happens. However, if they don't, the elevator floor will collapse, killing any NPCs inside. |
| Fun Flood at Squishy's | Gregoriah in the TV will wave at the players, saying that the building has been here for over 400 years, or that scientists confirm that it is the silliest place on earth. Gregoriah will then press the button that summons the flood, and then telling every player to get to high ground. |
| Funny Maze | A dark maze that makes the player hallucinate. There is a hostile NPC (named Scary Mike) that will chase people. |
| Glorp 'N Go | Glorp 'N Go is a gas station/alien themed floor. |
| Gumball Machine | Climb up a gumball machine to win coins. There is a chance that a cat sphere named "DrRETRO" will peek above the elevator door before dropping down and entering the elevator. |
| gm_flatgrass | Flatgrass or gm_flatgrass from Garry's Mod, after a few seconds the NPC "Wallter" will drop down from the structure and enter the elevator, if the player walks up to the structure a player by the name of "maxim008" will get flung and drop onto the grass. |
| HALL OF | An extremely long hallway where players escape an incinerator, similar to the one in WALL OF. |
| Happy Birthday? | A birthday song plays with an NPC named FleshCousin (that takes the appearance of a random player, specifically, the closest player to it) in the server stuck in the middle of the cake. FleshCousin then walks into the elevator. |
| Happy Home Party | In the middle of a Happy Home, there are 3 noobs named "UNO", "DOS", and "TRES". after a certain time period, meteors strike the area, killing said noobs. |
| HC Icecream | A ice cream parlor with "crem", a glob of ice cream as the cashier. |
| Hole in the Wall | A hole in shape of a stick man with a door to the left, there is a chance that the door will open and a PNG of a cat named "Jermbo" will be standing behind it. There is a 1/100 chance a cat named Jermbo will clip through the wall and enter the elevator. |
| Hotel Floor | A hallway of 6 rooms. The player must rush quickly to find the unlocked door or else the neurotoxin kills them. |
| Infected Apartment | An apartment complex that slowly gets infected with the Missing Texture icon. Either NPCS "Unpleasant" or "Infected" goes in the elevator. |
| Intense Obby | A Speedrunner like Obby that takes place in a well-lit cave. |
| Jeremy's Domain | A pink cube with The Winning Smile face steals a player, dresses it up as a princess, then drops it in a cage. Players rush to the other side of a castle to save the trapped person. |
| Jermpop Factory | A giant abandoned warehouse that produces Jerm Pops. Players are tasked with activating buttons while avoiding Jermbomination to complete the floor. |
| Mannequin Room | A group of 5 mannequins are featured in a dark, red room. After 5 seconds, the lights turn off and teleport to the elevator's door. |
| Minefield | An npc named "Gragh" will walk towards the elevator, step on a mine and get sent flying into a random area. Players attempt to avoid a minefield that sends them back to the start. If you won, you would have been offered to buy a Limited UGC, and get free icecream from the free icecream dispenser. |
| Mozelle’s Humble Castle | A large building decorated in frilly pink and gold ornate décor. Players are then tasked with clicking the treats with a green glow, earning one point with each good treat clicked respectively. When the timer reaches zero, a scoreboard will appear, listing the top three players with the most points. |
| Mysterious Ball Room | A white room with 8 balls and 2 chests parallel to each other. |
| OFFICE OF | An office with a fountain in the center that connects to WALL OF, WHEEL OF and HALL OF. Players can encounter Mach, who can be clicked to say random phrases about her life. |
| Other Elevator | A copy of the elevator, with one of 3 things. "Bread_Angle" saying hello, "Jermbo", or confetti. |
| PET CAPTURE DELUXE | A floor taking place on a white void and pink and purplish-blue obstacles on it. Players are tasked on capturing creatures found around the map and collecting gems found around.playing in the background. A reference to Petscop, a horror series on YouTube. |
| Pure Cheesination | A land, full of cheese, with the song "Pure Imagination" playing in the background. A reference to Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. |

| Red Ball Pile | A pile of red balls. After a while, they fly into the elevator, hurting players touched by it. |
| Red Ball Temple | The floor appears to be a temple, with an obstacle course. There is a giant Red Ball will roll out of the giant decal at the end and start destroying anything in its path, and killing any players in the way. |
| Reddy's Underground Diner | A restaurant based on the Red Teddy. Emerson can be seen resting on a desk, and a band featuring Reddy can be also seen. Also a reference to Five Nights at Freddy's. |
| Rock Park | A Campground being invaded by "Rocks". |
| Sebastian's Wares | A shop floor that was added in collaboration with the game Pressure. |
| SharkCo Mall | An abandoned and overgrown mall with a tree in the center, alongside several boarded up doorways and several banners placed around on the ceiling. |
| Shop Space | A store with a yellow sphere known as "Enphoso" as the clerk, players can buy many items such as a Coolio Toolio. |
| Skyblock | A map based off Minecraft's Skyblock, Herobrine can sometimes be seen standing on the other island. |
| Slap Battles | The floor takes place in the normal spawn area in Slap Battles with 5 islands surrounding it. Each player is assigned a slapper/glove; their selection rotates randomly throughout the round. |
| Slide 4 Admin | A rainbow slide with a target and a swinging hammer, hitting the glowing spot on the target will reward you coins and the "Bullseye" badge. |
| Snackcore | A floor based on the Roblox game "get a snack at 4 am" by Stixxal. Players are tasked with eating the items placed on the shelves while The Cashier isn't watching. |
| Snowy Slope | A slope with the whole server on an uncontrollable sled. |
| Sound of Sci-fi | A species called "Cerebrum Melter" in a coffin inside of a laboratory. |
| Space Dropper | A dropper where players have to avoid obstacles while falling down to win the minigame. |
| Splitsville! | A wipeout-like obstacle course. There's a chance of the NPC "Split" going in the elevator. |
| Stanely's Office | A office in construction, the players have to parkour up various objects until the building floods with concrete. Mannequin_Mark would spawn in this floor. |
| Studio Obby | A classic Roblox obby. It is based on Roblox Studio's obby template. |
| Superhallway | A green plain with several freeways. Players must reach the end by crossing the roads, and avoid being hit by cars. |
| Teapot Traversal | A floor similar to Dodge Teh Teapots which gets progressively longer and harder per difficulty level increase. |
| Suspiciously Elongated Room | A long hallway with safe spots. A speeding wall (TARMITE) would kill anyone outside the safe spots. |
| Temple of, Something | A temple, after a while the gem in the middle would either be stolen, or crumble. A version of Minecraft spleef would start. |
| The outside | A floor with a view of several floating pillars with text on them. |
| Toolbox Speedway | A classic Roblox-themed racetrack with cars that players can drive. The goal is to finish the race track before time runs out. |
| Toolbox Thriftshop | A shop with classic Roblox-themed similar to Toolbox Speedway. |
| Tumblr Ballpit | The Dashcon Ballpit. Users that enter it would end up in a cave with Teeth balls named Toothy and Toothette that try to kill them. |
| Turret | A turrent will shoot at the middle of the elevator, and stop. |
| Two Stud Camp | A campground with all the NPC's currently in the elevator on a log. After a while, the torches burn off, and a group of UFO's invade the place. Either "Spud" or "Gnarpy" would enter the elevator. |
| UES | A liminal space-type area that is themed around an office. Players are tasked with finding an NPC named Jaoba that is hidden in one out of the many massive cardboard boxes on the floor. |
| Underground Subway | A average subway with either "Poob (PartyNoob)" or "Pest". |
| WALL OF | A wall that displays fire chasing the player with an obstacle course. |
| WHEEL OF | A wheel that spins, depending on the result, it can; spawn red balls, drop titles, give coins, light titles on fire, or reroll. |
NPCS[]
One of Regretevator's main style is the use of NPCS. Throughout the game, some NPC's may enter the elevator at any given time. As such, some well-known NPC's are:
- Gnarpy, a feline-like alien that crashed into a camp. It's commonly regarded as the most popular NPC in the game, and has seen redesign due to controversy over its initial designer.
- PartyNoob, a Noob with a party hat that likes partying out, they also are referred to by both the devs and the community as Poob.
- Pest, a Guest with horns and a beetle like face and details, along with Guest attire, but in Japanese. He also sometimes speaks in Japanese, sometimes confusing other NPCs. (When developers were developing him, his first name was PartyGuest.)
- Unpleasant, a rectangle with a vertical gradient of green, pink and brown. (Referring to the "this unpleasant gradient is at your front door" meme.)
- Mannequin_Mark, a wooden mannequin with a yellow/green hard hat.
- DrRETRO, a yellow ball-shaped cat with a wide open mouth and black eyes. She also speaks in meowing.
- Wallter, a tall, concrete man.
- Infected, a yellow skinned skateboarder who takes the appearance of an older Roblox outfit.
- Jermbo, a picture of a white cat with brownish ears staring at the camera.
- Prototype, a white robot with a curious expression, and mostly red, yellow, aqua, and cyan details.
- Scag, a television with a blue screen and a claw.
- STAT, a 2D image or either animation, instead of a 3D model.
- Bive, a humanoid black hairball with glasses, a wide smile, and a detective suit.
- Split, a banana fruit "taur" (combination with a dog and a snail).
- Lampert, a humanoid lamp with a charger cord as a tail.
- RAT, a giant rat with a glowing green nose.
- MR, a rock with a wide smile and three eyes.
- Folly, a tall shadow woman with a white beret and red eyes with yellow irises.
- Fish, a brown fish with round black eyes. There is also a variant of this called "BIG Fish", which is the same, but bigger.
- Fleshcousin, a character who mimics a player's appearance, except for their face. Otherwise, outside of the game, it is a blocky gray NPC with a paper page taped to its head with a smile drawn on it.
- Spud!, a blocky camp counselor with no legs, elongated arms, a smile tilted to 90° degrees, and a bucket on his head.
- Mach, although this NPC does not enter the elevator, she is beloved by many members of the Regretevator fandom and especially on tumblr, many of her fans even having a crush on her, she is also part of an evolved species as part of a connected bloodline of man-made deities, supposedly being the last member, despite looking humanoid.

Through the use of coins picked up by various challenges, the user can spend them on a plethora of items. Some examples are a snowball, a Red ball with a distressed like face, and Cheese.
