The ROBLOX Commercial Contest was a commercial making contest on Roblox which began on February 22, 2014, and ended on March 9, 2014.[1]
Background[]
On February 22, 2014, former Roblox administrator JacksSmirkingRevenge announced on a blog post that Roblox were hosting a contest called the The ROBLOX Commercial Contest.[1] Users were supposed to come up with a 30-second commercial for the contest and then upload it onto YouTube. The users then had to submit the link to the email commercials@roblox.com and then leave their Roblox username in the body of the email. The name of the email also had to have the name ROBLOX Commercial somewhere in the title.
Entrance Procedure[]
In order to enter, users had to have a Roblox themed commercial, the commercial could be no longer than 30 seconds, the video quality had to be at least 720p, the video had to be uploaded to YouTube and it had to adhere to the Roblox rules.
Winners[]
The winners of the contest had their commercials aired on one of the official BLOXcast live-streams, as well on a single episode of The Next Level.
