The Robine

The Robine (commonly referred to as TR) is a famous group owned by a game developer whose username is Gavineo. It is an old group which has a long history.

Even though the Robine was a war group in the past, the group claimed that it was focusing on becoming a roleplay friendly community. Their main game was once City-17, while a memory version of Downtown RP (first version) is still available to the public.

The group once had a game called Training Facility, which was integrated into the Project Realism Hub. It was their main training ground for new units and low ranking members to gain experience and marks. There were however many more ways to receive marks, like Mass Patrols.

For nearly half of a decade, the Robine had been very powerful. However, it had become less active since 2020.

In 2022, the Robine started declining due to lack of active members. In 2023, to avoid the group becoming completely inactive, Viceroy andrew, after consulting to his Hicom, he announced that the Robine would be changing it's genre to the Hunger Games.

On 4th February 2023, the high-ranking members announced that the Robine had become a 'hunger group'. However, this decision didn't work well.

As of 4th September 2023, the Robine formly ceased operations.

The Robine is currently completely inactive. It is deemed to having been abandoned by the owner.

History[]

Daybreak Era[]

The Birth of the Robine (Early 2016)[]

The Robine is an old group on Roblox. It was officially created and launched on April 09th 2016 by a mysterious whose username was Gavin1999. Not much known about this person. Some legends said that Gavin1999 left the group at some point and he gave the group to Gavineo.

Some sayings claim that Gavin1999 is not the only ones who participated in the founding of the Robine, and claim that RobineMilitary is one of the founders of the Robine. However, there isn't enough evidence.

The group was not the first Half-Life 2 themed Roblox RP group, but it was actually added as the former C.M.B. community (2012-2016) experienced a global decline due to poor group management. In fact, the Robine was the most moderate and active group among the rest. In the beginning, the Robine was a war clan. It participated in some wars happened within this community. After the C.M.B. community no longer existed, the Robine became a war group and developed its own games.

Day Spring Era[]

First Game Developed by the Robine (Mid 2016)[]

The first main game which was developed by the Robine was City-17 (first version, untitled City-17 v1.0). The map was very simplistic, like many games on Roblox at that time.

A Codex would be published somewhere between April and May 2016. Divisions were already here (Overwatch Transhuman Arm and Deathwatch). Although, the division system used to be completely different, just like the Rank Structure and the promoting system, as peoples had to earn tokens in order to get promotions. It was the case until the addition of the TFAC (or Training Facility) in April 20th. The Resistance (the predecessor of the Rosistance) used to host riots and anti-civil activities against the Robine.

There were 2 main teams (Civilian Team and Robine Team). Robine units would basically patrol around the city and its different zone, precincts and strategic places (Plaza, Train Station, Ration Station, Apartments, Sewers and Nexus). A special place was granted for citizens only, called Grizzly Grotto, with an hidden access to the sewers. In order to get housing or to buy rations, peoples had to earn tokens (The only way to could earn is to wait for free 10 tokens given in a certain time while playing, as Printers didn't exist yet). A Black Market was accessible for the citizens where you can buy weapons ( AR2, MP7 and USP), and it was the case before the addition of the Gun Dealer Team.

A small territory used to exist, where peoples had to control it, and a strange Robine "tank" could be driven by units. Both of these features were removed. Notice that corruption inside the community and daily exploiting were very common, way more than in the past, and it was a serious for a really long time that Hight Ranks had to deal with.

For a long period of time, the Robine had been a powerful group and their games were very popular. 2017 was the golden age of the Robine.

Dawn Era[]

The Rise: Old Robine (Late 2016)[]

In September 2016, a more detailed and realistic map will replace the previous version, for more modernity. More stuff is added (such as Printers, Gun Dealer and Hitman Team, gun crates and more). Uniforms were improved and Divisions were revamped. In late 2016, The Rosistance was created, with an in-game team, which replaced the non-official Resistance community.

This second version of City 17 (entitled City 17 | City RP) corresponds to the period when the group's popularity was at its peak. The map will be updated for a very long time, until 2018.

Golden Age of the Robine (Early 2017 - Mid 2018)[]

2017 was best known to be the golden age of the Robine. In January 2018, the main color of the group was changed to purple, for aesthetic reasons (purple corresponds in fact to the color of wealth and royalty). The same year, the game received an extension of the city (Addition of a bank). Corporations (or CEO) are added, which will be an important feature for RP.

But in June 2018, because of the fear of copyright issues, the developers changed the map again.

Sunset Era[]

The Great Change: Middle Robine (Late 2018)[]

In June 2018, Downtown RP (referred to as DTRP) was published as the main game. After that, the group experienced a recession.

Printers were improved, Space Station, Core and Office are added, and vehicles were introduced. Meltdown was also added as an in-game event. The Engineer and The Mayor Teams are also created, and Jetpacks were introduced in the game.

Becoming more well-known (Early 2019 - Late 2019)[]

In March 2019, famous Youtuber Flamingo published a trolling video about D.T.R.P. , which might have revealed the group to the rest of Roblox community for a couple of times, that allowed the game to gain more popularity.

On 7th April 2019, on a newsletter, the Robine claimed that the Robine Times has returned, which was marked as the end of the recession. But, as time passed, Roblox community started losing interest in the war group community. And yet the Robine was still active at that time. Downtown RP used to be under important criticizing, because of the lack of Half Life 2's reference and the bad Roleplay quality that used to be a part of the gameplay, especially when developers allowed players to purchase gamepasses.

The Great Decline (Early 2020 - Mid 2020)[]

In 2020, Downtown RP was replaced with a whole new game, called Banglcaw (untitled Bangclaw Simulator and then Border Simulator), with as promise better quality and stuffs. However, this change was a disaster for the community, and badly received from the players because of several important issues : A large map and a boring gameplay that doesn't fit with the Robine vibe (using of the R15 animation instead of the usual R6), useless feature (Adoption Center and train), and an expensive gamepass that didn't really matter after, and considered as a waste of money for nothing. At this moment, the activity started to really decrease and critics increased a lot. Many people started to quit and accused developers of being greedy, and this exasperation led to the suppression of Bangclaw Roleplay in September 2020.

Nightfall Era[]

The Fall of The Robine (Late 2020)[]

During a very short time, between September 2020 to April 2021, Downtown RP had been added back. But it's too late : Nothing could bring back the old activity and popularity that the Robine used to get back in 2019, meaning that Bangclaw completely ruined of TR, and things were would become worst worst the following months : The consequences were irreversible.

In the beginning of the 2021, most SRs left the group, like Amy or awespell. In the video "The Slowly Dying Robine, and Why I am no longer in it", former HR eakk exposed serious issues and what's wrong with the Robine community, especially among the Higher ranks. For days and days, the game was empty,

In Early 2021, developers announced the coming back of City-17, and would be launched in April 2021 for the 5th anniversary of the group.

Sunrise Era[]

The Rebirth : Project Realism (Early 2021)[]

In April 2021, City 17 RP is officially published, and this event is seen as an attempt to relive a rusted and dying community. Therefor, a lot of reforms are made inside the community. The new game has a different gun system, walking animation, graphics and atmosphere. The Rosistance, which used to be practically forgotten, is finally back, especially with the arrival of the Factions. Larger sewers are added, just like special room where some weapons are stored in the Nexus and where citizens can steal them. The Overwatch Transhuman Arm division is added back after years. Jobs are also added which allows Citizens to work. The border is revamped and more complex, with an illegal way to exit the Train Station. A system of ID Card validation is added too, and units have to check every citizens during the Shakedown to find if any of them passed through the legal border or not.

The Hight Class status would allow player who bought the Mayor gamepass to walkthrough freely during the Curfew without being punished.

Downtown RP was also still available, not as the main game, but just like a sort of memorial for the old days of the Robine.

Light Noon Era[]

Trying to be as active as before (Mid 2021)[]

In Mid 2021, City-17 RP was renamed as Project Realism, because developers would create something bigger, with multiple areas. The idea to gather the old Downtown RP map and the current City-17 was even suggested. Activity was increasing, the changing seemed to work, the Robine was gaining more players. This was one of the longest periods that the Robine was very active.

Being one of the most famous war groups on Roblox (Late 2021 - Mid 2022)[]

Since the Robine's policies were effective, many players joinned the Robine. At that time, the Robine's main game was popular. Many people believed that this period would last until the last day of Roblox. However, most of them didn't realize that a lot of members started losing hope in the Robine due to its lack of creativity.

Becoming less active than before (Late 2022)[]

In August 2022, some members noticed that the group was slowly becoming not that active. In October, the game started to become not that popular. In November, the Robine became much less active even though some of its high-ranking members often hosted events like trainings. Hype seems to ends. In December, many members realized that the group has become inactive. Ground Unit 02 MrFuntimes claimed on the comment wall that this group was already 'dead'. A few of members like Ground Unit 01 GREAT_MUSHROOM said that they needed to make the group great again but their voices were ignored. Stepping into 2023, since the Robine didn't even host any event to celebrate the arrival of the new year, it could be confirmed that this group had become inactive. Many people deemed that another war group which was called Universal Union had taken the Robine's place among the Half-Life 2 - Style groups.

Twilight Era[]

Attempting to Rise Again : Modern Robine (Beginning of 2023)[]

Trying to rise again[]

In mid January 2023, the main game Project Realism was changed into Downtown RP (v2019) again, and the memorial version (v2021) was closed. Downtown RP ushered in a brief revival these days. The game got some visitors everyday. However, many people doubted that the revival could be long. As time passed, soldiers who played the game became less. Most of the visitors were civilians and members of the Rosistance, which was the main enemy of the Robine. According to the comment posted by Ground Unit 02 rafaelchbr, some recruits revolted and team-killed the other soldiers.

In late January 2023, the brief revival ended. Only several players visited Downtown RP (second version) everyday. A few members of Division Peacekeeper often patrol in the city to prevent the other soldiers from breaking the rules. However, most of the soldiers who enter Downtown usually ignore the rules and kill the civilians. Members of the Rosistance often attack the soldiers in the city. Therefore, new players are hard to survive in this city.

On 29 January 2023, Lead Engineer Somewhat_Unknown started a vote to ask the other members to see if which choice they would prefer. The voters could choose to let the group bring City-17 back, make another game, switch the Robine to another genre instead of staying in this genre or let the Lead Engineer himself leave the Robine. Until the end of the vote, most voters had chosen the last choice. Considering that Lead Engineer Somewhat_Unknown is the Lead Developer of the Robine. If he leaves the group and nobody takes his position, nobody will lead the developer team to make games or updates. Besides, Administrative Superordinate Somewhat_Unknown announced that he would leave the General Robotics Intelligence Division, which was the biggest division of the Robine. After that, many members started spamming on Discord server, saying the names of the members whom they wanted to be the new leader of GRID. These incidents hit the Robine's leadership hard. Later on the same day, Sectorial Commander collsnowowl called the other members to participate in a sword fighting event hosted in a game called Outpost Invictus, trying to make the group active again; however, nobody came to participate in the event.

On 30th January 2023, Viceroy restlesspell posted several announcements, promising that he would make the Robine rise again. An event was hosted in Downtown RP (second version) after that. Some members participated in the event. Viceroy restlesspell also announced that he would implement some policies, such as removing unpopular morphs and useless channels and reforming the training structure and CPP. Later on the same day, Viceroy restlesspell announced that he would disband all divisions and started planning to fix the problems within the main game. Even though the group seemed to be not that inactive for a short time, many people doubted that these policies could bring the golden age back.

On 31st January 2023, the main game was changed to City-17 Project Realism, meaning that the Robine started planning to stand against the Universal Union. The high-ranking members posted several announcements to introduce their plan and invited the members who were interested in becoming developers to join the developer team. They also hosted some events, such as raiding the other war groups' base areas. A small group of members participated in these events. Another brief revival began after that. The main game got some visitors everyday. And yet most of the players were members of the Rosistance. Only a few players were members of the Robine. Many people doubted that if these plans could really work.

Although some members said that the remaining high-ranking members were trying to make the group active again, the Autarch's inactivity made doing this hard. Some rumors said that the group would probably be sold in the foreseeable future.

End of War Group Era[]

On 4th February 2023, the Robine changed the logo of its Discord server. The high-ranking members posted several announcements, saying that the Robine had become a 'hunger group' and there would be many updates for the group and the game. The rank structure would also be changed. 'War Group Era' ended on this day.

On 9th February 2023, the brief revival ended. Almost nobody visited City-17 Project Realism these days. It was said that this group had become nearly completely inactive.

Dark Noon Era[]

Being inactive (Early 2023)[]

For a long period of time, the Robine had been very inactive. On the comment wall, members kept talking about the downfall of the Robine everyday.

In mid March 2023, the high-ranking members often gave announcements to explain how the situation was and what they were going to. However, the group was still very inactive.

On 1st April 2023 (April Fools' Day), the icon of the Robine's server on Discord was changed into the icon of League of Legends, which is a popular multiplayer online battle arena video game. After few days, the icon was changed back into the original one.

In April, the high-ranking members sometimes hosted events in order to make the group active again. They also tried to hire more low ranking members to become mid ranking members who would help them to finish some new projects. However, these policies still could not make the Robine active again.

In late May, the group's games ushered in a brief revival. Some players often participated in the events hosted by the group. This was marked as the end of the Dark Noon era. The next era to come would be the Eventide Era, which would be the last shining era in the Robine's history.

Eventide Era[]

Last Time to Shine: Dark Roleplaying (Mid 2023)[]

On 30th May 2023, the reforms come into play. Many players played the main game that day. The ranks above 'Ground Unit 05' were locked in order to prevent members to get marks from being AFK, forcing them to participate in events to get promotion. The name of the main game was changed into '[💰] City-17 DarkRP'. The situation that the main game being popular continued for months. During this period, the high-ranking members who were promoted recently posted many announcements about the reforms on Discord everyday. Some members believed that this meant the Robine had become active again but many members still doubted that if it could be long. Nevertheless, this revival was one of the longest revivals since 2023.

However, as time passed, the players who played the main game became less and less. Even so, many players played the main game every night. Events were hosted every day.

On 20th July 2023, for a long time on the day, no player joined the game.

On 2nd August 2023, Ground Unit 04 fluffy32324 said that the main game was 'dying' because the amount of its players was decreasing. On 3rd August 2023, Ground Unit 02 FeralBeliever said that the main game was 'officially dead'. Some people believed that the Robine was becoming less active again.

On 12th August 2023, Duke OmegaTraitor10 announced that they found out that some members of the Rosistance disguised themselves as civilians; therefore, a permanent Kill on Sight order had been placed on all members of the Rosistance. On 17th August 2023, Duke chrispeII announced that the Rosistance had been banned and its members should be reported if they were caught disguising themselves as civilians.; however, colonel+ were exempt. Some people worried that if the Rosistance was gone, the game would become less popular.

On 29th August 2023, Autarch Gavineo announced that he would leave the Robine for the time being due to the things happened in his life in real world. All current updates would be halted though the main game would stay open.

On 30th August 2023, Podcast Manager Osumania_isfun started a vote to see if people wanted the high-ranking members to host another funeral for the Robine. Approximately one hundred people voted for 'yes' whilst approximately fourteen people voted for 'no'. This was marked as the end of the Eventide Era, which lasted for nearly three months.

Sundown Era[]

Fimbulvetr (Beginning of September 2023)[]

On 3rd September 2023, Count guarost suddenly announced that the Robine would cease operations as of September 4th of 2023. This was probably caused by the leave of the Autarch. After the announcement was posted, a lot of people were shocked. Many people worried that the demise of the Robine would come soon. Junior Officer Madddesu hosted the final training in the main game on this day so that people could have fun for one more time.

On the same day, Podcast Manager Osumania_isfun started a vote to see how many people would attended the 'Robine Funeral 2.0'. Approximately twenty people showed their willingness to participate in the activity whilst approximately ten people were on the opposite side. On the comment wall of the group, some members mourned the demise of the Robine.

Ragnarök (During September 2023)[]

On 4th September 2023, Count guarost announced that the Robine Royalty had already decided to halt and cease the group's operations, and as of this day, all administrative duties, activities, and division quotas and duties within the Robine and the Rosistance were relieved.

On 5th September 2023, no player joined the main game the whole night.

On 6th September 2023, Viceroy Andrew said in the Rosistance's Discord server that Autarch Gavineo had already got a new game development job and had signed a non compete contract, forcing him to either shut down the Robine or give it to someone else, such as his sister or his advisors.

All these incidents completely ruined the Robine's activity. On the following days, almost nobody played the game. Only a few of the loyal members often joined the game to memorize their good old time there. Even though some high-ranking members often hosted events in the other games, they had given up the main game of the group already.

On 9th September 2023, on the comment wall of the group, Ground Unit 02 Wingedlizard2010 petitioned for people to play the main game the following day, trying to make the game popular again. However, nobody came that day. This was the last attempt to stop the main game from being completely 'dead'.

Dark Night Era[]

End of a Great Era (Late 2023)[]

For a very long period of time, the Robine was extremely inactive. A few members claimed that the Robine would rise again once the long holiday came, and yet no evidence showed that the high-ranking members of the Robine were willing to bring it back.

Being Buried (Since Early 2024)[]

Stepping into 2024, there was still no sign of this group being active again. Even though it had been a long time since the announcement about the abandonment of the group was posted, many members still didn't know about this. On the comment wall, some of them asked the high ranking members to bring this group back, whilst some of them mocked these members or expressed their feelings for the group.

On 21st January 2024, on the comment wall, Ground Unit 02 Emeraldrider_YT8 and Ground Unit 03 as325as said that they joined Downtown RP Memories and they asked everybody else to join the game, trying to make the game popular again. They waited for more than a hour but still nobody joined. Therefore, their attempt failed.

On 13th February 2024, Viceroy restlesspell announced that he was willing to allow the other members to operate the group and host events if they wanted to; however, there would be no city until they got permission from Autarch Gavineo. Some members expected that this decision could make the Robine active again. And yet many members deemed that the Robine would still be inactive in the future.

On 20th March 2024, Viceroy restlesspell announced that the Robine would return, and they were now working on it. Viceroy restlesspell said that instead of becoming a roleplaying group, the Robine would become a clan just like how it was from 2016 to 2018. Many members felt excited for it. However, a lot of members, including Ground Unit X cursedraco and Champion akurnos, doubted if the Robine could really rise again because clan community started going downhill years ago. Ground Unit 01 RatGrandmother, who was named as Gavineo on the server on Discord, claimed that this action would not work because lots of members have already left the group, and Autarch Gavineo would not be interested in it until there was a dent in his income.

On 1th April 2024, Viscount tacticaImajor posted a group shout, announcing that they would re-release something on 8th April 2024. However, since that day was April Fools' Day, some members deemed that Viscount tacticaImajor was doing a prank. In fact, Viscount tacticaImajor himself did do some pranks on the announcement channel of the group's server on Discord on that day, such as claiming that the Robine had already been defeated by the Rosistance. On 8th April 2024, nothing happened; therefore, on the comment wall, some members claimed that it was a April Fools' joke. On the group's server on Discord, one of Viscount's messages implied that what he said was only a prank.

Since early 2024, the Robine had commonly been believed to be gone forever. Even though some members still usually talked in the group's Discord server and the comment wall on the group page, and a few members often played the main game, it was deemed that the final hour of the Robine's long life had already passed.

Current state[]

Since most of the high-ranking members have left their positions already, the Robine is slowing fading out as time passes.

For one to rank up, they must achieve a number of "marks". Marks are the "xp" used by The Robine to handle promotions automatically.

All Robine Divisions are open to the public, however, member can only progress if he passes the Entrance Program of the Division. Gamma-6γ and Royal Guard are excluded from this.

In late 2022 and early 2023, many divisions were shutdown due to inactivity or lack of divisional leader. Some divisions were still working. However, Division Phantom was the only division which was still operating well until late 2023.

Uniforms[]

The appearances of the uniforms of the soldiers of the Robine have changed for many times. The most well-known changes are shown as follow:

[09/04 - 13/04/ 2016] The first appearance is a grey helmet with blue eyes and dark blue cammo uniform. (Fig.A)
[13/04 - May 2016]: Shortly after the release, the uniform system is completly changed. According to their rank, robine units would dress with different coloured version of the CP's combat armor from Half Life 2 (Level 0-2 White, Level 3-4: Yellow, Level 5-EPU: Blue and DvL+: Red). [04/05 - October 2016]: The new white helmet is added. (Fig.E)
[October 2016 - November 2016]: Because of the new city 17 build and its realistic style, the helmet is quickly replaced with a Gaz Mask between late september and early october. The eyes's color is New Yeller{255, 255, 0} and textured with the Neon material. (Fig.F)
[ November 2016 - June 2017]: New uniform are added, LRs, MRs and HRs style are slightly different from each others. (Fig.G, H and I)
[ June -August 2017]: In order to fit with the group emblem, Uniforms turn red from June to August 2017. HRs wouldn't wear an armor but an officer jacket instead. (Fig.J and K)
[ August 2017-January 2018]: The Gaz Mask eyes turn in Maroon{117, 0, 0}. (Fig.L)
[ January - June 2018]: As The Robine's main colour change, uniforms are recolorized in purple. Different Gaz Masks are added this mounth (Level3+, Level5+, Officer+ and SectorialCommand+) (Fig M and N)
[June 2018]: After the DowntownRP release, the Gaz Masks is replaced by a new helmet to get rid of the old Hl2 style (Fig O)
[25/06/2018-January 2020]: The armor is replaced with a space suit. New HR and SR jackets are also added the same day. (Fig P, Q and R)
[January - June 2020]: As Bangclaw is released, a new helmet is put in the game. Its the same Gaz Mask that Level 05s used to wear in City 17 but with purple eyes. (Fig S)
[January - 05/09/2020]: Again, a new helmet is added. (Fig T)
[05/09/2020 - October 2020]: DowntownRP and old appareances came back in September 05th 2021.
[October 2020 - April 2021] : Quickly after the re-release, the colour system previously used in late 2016 is added back after nearly 5 years, and is still utilized nowadays. (Fig U, V and W)
[April 2021-June 2022]:As Projet Realism was introduced, Gaz Masks were re-added back again with different eyes colour. (Fig X, Y and Z)
[Since June 2022]: A more realistic version of the Combine's armor replaced the old space suit. (Fig A2, B2 and C2)
[Since 31/01/2023]: The uniforms were changed back to the third oldest uniforms which were used when City-17 (second version) was still the main game. This is the latest change in the appearance of the uniforms.

As players already know, according to the History section, The Robine changed its main map at least 6 times in 6 years, some of them are tend to players more popular and appreciated than others.

City-17 RP[]

City 17-RP has at least two important versions, A first version that has a more oldschool and bloxy style like many ROBLOX games that were released between 2014 and 2015, with a darker and disturbing atmosphere and a second version, more modern and more enlightened. Scripts, builds and gameplay could be considered as very outdated, ancient and simple, even boring in comparison of nowadays, Players can find an accurate version on Roblox here

City 17 | City RP[]

In September 2016, a more realistic and complex version of City 17 is published, using more meshes and textures than before, directly inspired by the Garry's mod City 17 Dark RP's map. More features are added, making this map the first REAL Robine game where the basics of the gameplay is implemented. It will be used as the main game for less than 2 years, which is a record in terms of longevity for a Robine map. City 17 | City RP is often associated with the Golden Area of TR, with an important rise activity. In the first place, atmosphere would tend to be darker and disturbing, but it slowly evolved to a community-friendly game ambience in the beginning of 2017. However, many consider this game has the best TR game ever made.

Downtown RP (First version)[]

In June 2018, City 17 is completely disappear and the HL2RP genre would brutally change into a "Space Empire Dictatorship" genre due to probable copyright issue. Even if the game itself is not as popular as what TR used to be, and it would be still appreciated by the community. Two version of this game exists, one with a grey-colored compatibility atmosphere and a basic border until late 2018, and another one with a Shadow Map lighting in 2019. Also the purpose of Citizens is different, which tend to chill and gun fight instead of actually act as a real civilian of a city, and roleplay quality would regress the following months. The map is also big enough to introduce in game cars, because streets are larger so you can drive easily. Corporations are a big part of the gameplay, peoples used it as a sort of Faction. A Core is added, with a cooling system, and in case of the temperature being too high, players can flee to the space station with a spaceship.

Banglaw Simulator[]

In January 2020, as the developers confirmed, another map is create for the new year, where a lot of good stuffs are promised especially for the Rosistance. However, due a too larger map and useless features, Bangclaw had to endure a lot of criticizing from the TR community. Bangclaw consists to a city inside of a giant deserts from nowhere, which doesn't fit with how TR usually looked like. The ambiance is way "sandy" than urban, and the R15 addition make it even worst. The name as changed into "Military Simulator", and peoples were actually afraid of what TR would' become, a boring and grab-cash border simulator like just The Robine Militia, which is controversial group because of its terrible game, only made for profits and poorly moderated. Meanwhile, City 17 Reborn is published which is basically a remastered version of the late 2017-early 2018 City 17 | City RP game. It was also criticized due to the fact that players had to pay again gamepasses they already had in Bangclaw just for this place instead of having theirs in both games.

Downtown RP (Second version)[]

Between late 2020 and early 2021, DowntownRP is brought back. However, while players were happy the days after the publication, activity and popularity were already gone, and this change made new players very confused about it so they decided to leave the community, just like most SRs that were busy and angry about Robine's terrible management. The most notable update is the new Core basement, apartments, realistic lighting and the come back of The Grizzly Grotto after years on the plaza. Even though both Downtown RP and City-17 were important games managed by the group at that time, Downtown RP's servers were usually empty and only a few players liked to play this game.

Project Realism[]

Project Realism is the current main game. It is basically City 17 but with important additional feature and place, like a whole new sewers and underground. The walking animation is different. There is a new border with a verification ID Card system, jobs and more. More information is given on the Codex.

Controversies[]

In early June 2023, the main game ushered in a brief revival. At that time, the group added some flags which are related to LGBT to the main game. Many people deemed that the Robine was trying to be more political correct in order to attract more players. On the comment wall, some members claimed that the group lost their respect because of this decision because Half Life 2 had nothing to do with political correctness.
In mid June 2023, some people claimed that the second thumbnail of [☀️] City-17 DarkRP was a picture which the Robine stolen from Baronvongames. The Robine changed thumbnail after several days.

The idea of building the Robine was very likely to be inspired by a famous game called Half Life 2. The main antagonists of Half Life 2 is the Combine, which image is probably the prototype of the image of the Robine.
