A thumbnail is a preview of a game to allow a user to get a gist of the game they are about to play. In total, five thumbnails can be used in just one game. The three types of thumbnails a player can select are an image uploaded from a device (R$10), a YouTube video (R$100), and an auto-generated thumbnail, which is provided to a user for free.
History
The thumbnail was initially added to ROBLOX in September 2006, along with when ROBLOX was launched. Since then, the default thumbnail has gone through a number of changes,
