The Trials [PHASE 2] is a story-based game made by Zelnus HQ. It was inspired by the Saw movies. Also based on a beta version of the trials.
Gameplay[]
In this game, the player must go through challenges in order to survive. Players are ordered by a strange person only referred to as "judge" on a television screen to complete challenges or face death. If a player dies they are automatically sent back to the lobby. This will also happen in Phase 2 if the player's partner dies or leaves the game.
Trials[]
Spoilers present below. Read at your own risk.
PHASE 1:[]
Push The Button[]
In the first challenge the player wakes up in a dark room with a contraption placed on his head. They are ordered by "judge" to click a button to unlock the contraption around their head. Each button lights up only once, and there are 9 buttons, meaning only 9 participants may survive. If they're not one of the lucky 9 participants who passes the trial they will be impaled in the eye by the contraption's sharp knifes
Match A Lock[]
After unlocking the contraption the players are sent into a room filled with several boxes with beams attached to the celling. The boxes may contain keys to unlock doors or a cannon that can shoot a player if they are standing near the box. Players must find a key for one of the doors before the room is incinerated with flamethrowers. Each door has a different lock shape and some keys do not match any of them. 7 players can survive this round.
Horse Race[]
In the next room, players are ordered to put on a collar and pick up a remote. They make their way to a horse race display like those one might see at a fairgrounds. Players must press the numbers shown on screen to make their horse advance and win the race. The last horse racer will be eliminated, meaning 6 people survive after this.
Outrun The Tiger[]
Players will enter a maze in which one of them is randomly selected to be the 'Tiger'. Each player starts off with 50 seconds and being the Tiger will deduct the player's individual time. The Tiger can run into other players to transfer the Tiger status to stop their timer. If a player's timer reaches 0, that player is eliminated. 5 Players can survive this round.
Trigger Finger[]
After leaving the rooms the players are made to sit on a spinning platform. Each player randomly takes turns facing a shotgun contraption and clicking a green crosshair on their screen. If they click it fast enough, the platform spins to the next player. If they do not, they are shot dead. 4 players can survive this round.
Light Switch[]
After exiting the carousel, players enter a room where they must each choose a lamp to control using a light switch. A light bulb in the center of the room alternates between on and off (Tip: The light bulb in the center will flicker when it is close to turning off). Players must turn their own lamp on to fill their light meter, but the light switches must be turned off before the center light does. Players will be killed if their light switch is on when the center light isn't, or if their light meter is the lowest at the end of the game.
Slippery Beam[]
The players are now ordered to walk on a narrow, slippery ledge. If they fall, they must return to the start and try again. There are three keys up for grabs at the end of the ledge, but only two doors for players to access, meaning only 2 survivors make it through.
One Must Move Forward[]
In the finale two players are attached to two metal transporters facing mechanical drills. The players must try to stop a line on their screen when it is closest to the right side, to boost the speed of their opponents transporter. To win, they must boost the opponent transporter's speed fast enough for them to be impaled by the drill before themselves.
PHASE 2:[]
Red Heart Blue Heart[]
The players will wake up stuck to a metal contraption with their partner. In this trial, players and their partners have to press their respective heart when it appears on screen in order to move forward within 3 minutes. If a player presses their button when their heart isn't shown, then they and their partner will be stopped for a few seconds. Whoever fails to get their contraption to the end will be dropped into a body of water. 18 players can survive this round.
Electric Maze[]
The players will be freed from the metal contraption and be sent to the next room. The players are told by the Judge to solve an electric maze and get their token to the bottom to stop the water. One player controls the up and down levers while the other controls the left and right levers. Failure to solve the maze in time or let their water reach the maximum level will result in them getting electrocuted. 16 players can survive this round.
Button Buddies[]
After that, they will be ordered to go into a elevator with 16 buttons on the bars of the elevator which will go underwater. Players have to press the buttons and try to figure out which button pairs with which in order to unlock the elevator door. If the button has already been paired, then it will be green, otherwise red. After that, the door will unlock and the 2 players have to press a button at the same time so the ceiling will retract and they will be freed from that trial. If the players don't do the following within 2 minutes, then they will drown. 14 players can survive this round.
